OPT7 Aura Bluetooth Smart Color Kit Review

It really works and the car looks beautiful. I like that it's tough, but there are just a few downsides. First, it doesn't come with instructions so you'll have to use your common sense. Second, the strips aren't very sticky, so you'll need to use a zip tie. And finally I have an Elantra so none of the fuse connectors match mine so I had to buy a Micro2 fuse to connect the hard cable. Great product but not everything you need to install.

The cord length was inconvenient as I had to use a long 6"-12" extension to run multiple sections. was zero stickiness. When I removed the strip to attach the real 3M VHB it tore the rubber of the LED strip (see picture). Haven't done the door wire yet. The app is a bit clunky. It's really annoying having to go through the animated splash screen every time, as well as having to connect to the bluetooth module so many times.

Bought this set because of the stainless steel case. It was easy to install and I liked the way it looked. The only downside is that the bluetooth is turned off but you just have to reconnect it. It would be better to include the remote control so you have both options. I ended up adding 2 sets of $20 extensions to add 4 more light strips for the engine bay and grille. I was thinking of going cheap and picking one of those $20 brands but decided to buy this after seeing reviews and videos. The installation process doesn't take long if you use the cigarette lighter method, it's really plug and play. Installed on my 2018 F-150 for extra under dash/floor lighting. More to help my aging parents than me, but it still works well. The brightness is adjustable and it's bright. I'll tell you why you shouldn't buy a professional. I would like to receive a refund. Using Bluetooth and a phone app sounds like a dream, but it's not. The app is total crap. Poorly done, like someone just learned how to make an app. It never connects.
