Good electrical product

It took some work to fix this but my setup was to remove the old poorly made outlet and replace it with this one. Reinstalling should be easier. Looks great with my new floor

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Big and bulky

The installer could not install it flush with the floor.

The quality is good. We replaced some of the old sockets on the floor with these. However, they did not sit flush with the floor. Still about 1/2 inch stuck. I just covered them with a rug but the only reason I bought them was to make sure the sockets were flush with the floor.

Pros
  • Sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • No

Reliable bottom hopper

Well designed bottom hopper. Installing the first one takes a little time, but it's easy once you get the hang of it. The height adjustment is very easy, so you can adjust the floor covering exactly. Designed for installation in a subfloor with a finished floor laid on top. At this point the height can be adjusted.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Some cons

It is best if installed before the flooring.

This product performs best when installed over a subfloor before carpet, tile or wood paneling is installed. When installed on a finished floor it will sit about a quarter of an inch. The idea is that you can adjust the final height to work with any height of your finished floor. To easily remove the screw-on exhaust plugs, insert a quarter into the slot, then grasp the quarter with pliers and unscrew the plug. Overall, the installation was pretty easy.

Pros
  • Decent Performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Floor funnel made of durable material

Floor funnel in normal design. Installing the first one takes a little time, but it's easy once you get the hang of it. Adjusting the height is a breeze, so you can tailor it to your floor. Designed for installation in a subfloor with a finished floor laid on top. At this point the height can be adjusted.

Pros
  • Including cover, dashboard, base, gaskets, screws and adjustable floor box
Cons
  • Without machine

Easy installation into finished floor and precise adjustment

I find this funnel to be very well designed and of good quality. Easy to install and easy to adjust to fit exactly at floor level. It fits perfectly on my finished floor. Cut a simple 2.5" x 4" hole and attach an adjustment bracket to the underside of the sub-tray (ignore the countersinks). You will need an S2 (#8-9-10) square head screwdriver for the adjustment screws. One more note: I connected the outlet to the load side of a separate GFCI outlet, good practice for a floor outlet.

Pros
  • 0 to 2 inch adjustment
Cons
  • weak
