I share an office with two other people. I needed a spot to hang my sweater & coat. The only place I have is the side of a tall filing cabinet next to my desk. I needed magnets that could hold up my heave winter coat without sliding. I cannot believe how strong these magnets are. I love a good purchase. Would definitely recommend these !

These are very useful. We put them on the inside of our front door, which is metal. They hold winter coats very nicely. FYI, though, they are not strong enough to hold two winter coats on one hook and will slide down.

Absolutely love these! So strong, can hold my heavy purse and my winter coat on my work cabinet. Recommend for all my coworkers. These are much stronger then expected and can easily hold heavy items. Look great too!

Between my stereo Jabra headphones, and my mono Jabra headphones, and my Bose Quiet Comfort headphones, and my Sennheizer headphones. things were getting a little messy. Now I have four hooks on the side of my desk cabinet that I just loop the headphone wire and hang both the wire and the headphones. one on each hook. Amazing holding strength and the black coating is very nice.

They seem pretty strong, using them on the side of the fridge to hold up two medium weight coats and they’re doing a great job so far. I don’t think they’d work with heavy coats unless maybe you used two in tandem to distribute the weight.

These things are strong. I have a metal strip running across the top edge of my cubicle, i put it on to hold my jackets since most of the over-the-wall hooks were not big enough to fit. One hook can easily hold most of the jackets as long as the surface it is stuck to is sturdy enough in itself.The hook is plain but functional and will blend in most environments.

We purchased a new stainless steel refrigerator and use the strong magnets for our kitchen towels on the side of the fridge. There are protective stickers to cover magnetic end. Do not slide magnets on fridge stainless steel. They will scratch the metal. I have had no problems with these strong hooks. A regular decorative magnet was slid and scratched our fridge front

Nice looking magnet. Had a tendency to slip a little on my metal door if coat was a little too heavy but clear double faced stickers the same size as the magnet were included which when applied, solved that issue.

I bought this to use as a coat hook. I have very limited storage at work, and I wanted to see if this would adhere to the side of my file cabinets or to a drawer to give me a place to hang up a damp rain coat. It is awesome! It works great. small but very strong. Also great to hang apron and pot holders to side of fridge. I took a chance, and was very pleased!

My office has no way of effectively installing coat hooks so I thought these would be helpful. They are on the side of my steel filing cabinet and are strong enough to hold my winter coat. No tools, no muss, no fuss- great result!

These hooks have great magnetic power and will be great for our cruise. Make sure they don’t get to close to your electronics.

Fit and finish is nice. The magnets are reasonably strong, but only for very light applications.Unfortunately the descriptions of magnetic strength appear to correlate poorly with typical real-world use. The best I can imagine for their meaning when they describe vertical and horizontal magnet strength is that they mean if you stick it to a vertical metal surface, you could pull downward (vertically) up to 140 lb before it would slip; and similarly could pull outward (horizontally) with up to…

They do stick well and hold a decent amount of weight, but if it does fall, it’s very heavy and could hurt your foot or crack a floor tile.

Definitely have a good magnet the only complaint would be that towels sometimes slip off especially if hang a dry one on these. Fortunately we used after a spa so ours tend to stay on okay.
