I remember seeing Shamwow ads, WAAAY back in the 90's. I am VERY impressed with their performance! I keep one of the large towels in my car and the other in my wife's car. When we go to the car wash, I can dry my mid-range sedan almost completely with just a towel that has been wrung out once. I love Shamwow clothes. So soft and wonderful that it can be used as a washcloth, bath towel, duster, etc. When I dust, I dampen the shampoo, wring it dry, and wipe off the dust as it soaks into the shampoo. It's amazing how nothing is left behind. You do NOT need sprays! If they get dirty, toss them in the washing machine and let them air dry for best results. I've been using them for over 10 years. I wouldn't be without her. I use them for everything I can think of, from spills (other than using paper towels) to cleaning paint (rinsing frequently so the paint doesn't seep in) to car/boat cleaning where I use them in place of use towels. Big yellow ones are great for big things. Blue ones are smaller and lighter. Even if I use them and if they break (I usually use my nails underneath as a sharp tool to get something that needs a little more pressure)

I've never had a Shamwow so it's hard to tell if it's a real Shamwow or not. That thing is super fluffy. It leaves lint all over it, which means you can't use it to dry your car (one of the uses advertised) unless you want to spend as much time removing the lint as you originally washed the car.
