This lamp is not half as bright as the original. This is for my oven. Not acceptable at all. There has to be something better. I wouldn't recommend it for anything

This light is just a joke! Weak, weak, weak. There is nothing to see inside the oven and the glass on the door is perfectly clean! Not about 40W as advertised!

One of my two oven light bulbs blew out so I found it was the exact same bulb as the one that had blown. Fits, but definitely not as bright as the other bulb.

There are many other sellers listed to the RIGHT below their ad - 10 bulbs for less than $10. You have the impression that you are buying a large quantity because of this fact, but you are NOT. You get ONE bulb for this price! Ridiculous.

This is a great option to buy a replacement bulb at a much cheaper price than buying the same bulbs from appliance parts stores. This is the same bulb at a fair price. It's too early to talk about durability but since it's the same Osram lamp I expect the same performance as the original lamp which lasted about 10 years.
