Since buying this machine we have baked about 10 loaves of bread, 2 jams and berry pie fillings with it. the results according to the recipes are excellent, except for the orange marmalade, which in my opinion needs too little pectin, the marmalade was runny. Added a few more tablespoons and ran the jam cycle again, much better. The recipe is great, I had homemade jam on homemade toast this morning. Fabulous! After a few uses, the machine begins to fail. It is now in our second block. Veryโ€ฆ

Carefully! There are no spare parts for this machine

This machine works, but there is a serious problem with it. Although this is a heavily marketed/current product, the manufacturer of the product (Oster) does not make replacement parts for it. The most important part, the bread pan, cannot be replaced. See Auster's website for articles on the subject. Oster directs panning requests to the 800 customer service number. After calling them they are informed that there are no spare skillets. No, this bread maker will be junk the moment this panโ€ฆ

Time to buy BEST QUALITY

This is basically a very good little machine; BUT, if you happen to receive a defective device that's past Revain's return date (30 days) and you have an issue with Jardin, the parent company will do essentially NOTHING for you. I bought my SECOND identical breadmaker to replace an old one that worked fine for a few years but finally broke on June 11th, 2017. Yesterday, November 9th, a new bread maker broke down. Machine stops, beeps continuously and displays error code EEE, temperature sensing

A simple bread maker that makes great easy buns.

I use it once a week on average. It replaces an old Oster that was over 10 years old which I took as a brand recommendation. It's significantly cheaper than the old one - lighter overall and with a much thinner pan, and the kneading motor sounds like it's trying hard (but does its job well). I bake a few different but simple breads - one with raisins added during rising. I am very happy with the results. Note: For raisin bread, I add them gradually once the second kneading/kneading starts andโ€ฆ

I spent almost $250 on one BUT.

This is an insanely good car! My first roll turned out great! I baked a 1 pound loaf on the fast setting. I thought this thing couldn't bake bread in under an hour! I was wrong. I didn't follow any of the instructions in the manual. I'm not a professional bread maker, but I used to make all kinds by hand, it's not difficult. I added the bases in the website recommended proportions, I didn't use bread flour, I used regular white flour mixed 50/50 with whole wheat flour. Installed the car andโ€ฆ

Saved money! Health saved!

Purchased: March 3, 2013 for $59.99 Reviewed on: November 12, 2015 Status of this Bread Maker: It's showing its age, but it's still chugging! I was transferred here to the US from Singapore (along with my family) by my company. We moved to New Jersey in November 2012 and bought sandwiches at a nearby grocery store for $2.50 daily 5 times a week. We noticed over the course of a few months that we were feeling a little "down" thinking it was just our ability to adapt to the weather, but we wereโ€ฆ

Oster CKSTBRW20 vs. Zojirushi BB-PAC20

In this review I will compare Oster CKSTBRW20 and Zojirushi BB-PAC20. Background: I have been baking different types of bread with an Easter bread maker for six months. When I got a bread maker I stopped buying bread. I use the machine every 2-3 days to bake 1.5 loaves for my family. For baked goods such as bagels, I have to take out the dough, shape it, etc. I find that to be a lot of work and that's why I haven't used and buy a machine for these baked goods. The recipes I used are readyโ€ฆ
