Unreliable - small units

I bought this bread maker to easily bake whole grain and multigrain breads. Unfortunately, the machine only bakes white bread reliably. Wholemeal bread doesn't bake all the way through, even though I followed the recipe exactly. If I could return it I would. Beware.

Great for those who don't bake or cook

I bought this bread maker because I was recommended to try gluten free bread. I have never baked bread. I don't use the oven, I don't even cook. But I use this bread maker! I'm actually surprised because I don't use other devices very often. But I use this bread maker!

Don't believe the ads.

I had high hopes for this machine having used another brand for many years with great success. But alas, no luck with that. If the bread rises as intended, the top part will burn, giving the whole loaf a burnt flavor. The flour is not fully integrated, leaving a streak of raw flour on the loaf. Not very tasty. The last loaf I baked yesterday didn't rise as it should and instead of rising it left a crown of bits of crust on the bread. The bread was too compressed, the crust was too thick and the

Easter Expressback — Very satisfied so far!

My experience (just over a week with the machine) echoes what others are saying in other, more detailed reviews: This machine is excellent value for money ratio, and bread comes out very well (I've baked four loaves so far), but I'm concerned about durability - the plastic lid in particular is a little loose and feels flimsy. Unlike some others, I haven't experienced any movement of the machine while it's in use, and the motor doesn't seem to be strained even by the kneading force of two pounds

Fur. will hold Not overloaded.

Replaced a ten year old version of the same item which I really liked. It appears to be the same except that it is gluten free. I gave it 3 stars because it bothers me that the device seems to be significantly cheaper than its "ancestor". It's significantly easier. The lid has become thinner and now closes with a plastic loop (which came loose on first opening). The pan looks thinner and no longer snaps top and bottom, arrived with a tiny scratch on the non-stick coating and a small dent on the

  • Large and bulky

My mother has had a smaller model of this machine for a long time and was very happy with it. We decided to buy a bread maker for her visit this year and bought this new model for our home. Well, let's just say it's a hit! She likes to use her bread maker just to knead and then she lifts the bread herself and bakes it the old fashioned way. Yes, it works great. We don't like to deal with that, so we use the normal and express baking (100% baking in the bread maker) functions. Express baking is…

No longer in love Suitable for small appliances

UPDATE: After 3 months I had to apply for a 1 year guarantee. Bread settings no longer work, this is only suitable for rising dough. Check out the attached photos of how my most relevant loaves come out. My ingredients are fine, but the machine isn't working properly. Previous review below. I did a lot of thorough research before deciding on this bread maker and I am very happy with my choice. It came down to a gluten-free model and a standard expressbake. I choose the gluten free model after…

bakes good white bread

This machine (Easter express baking with gluten-free function) can bake good white bread. You must be VERY precise with your measurements. Even a small change in the amount of salt can have a big impact on your bread. I also found it helpful to use a thermometer to make sure your water is warm enough. I'm still trying to find the ideal temperature for liquids. Even with accurate measurements, the recipe will likely need to be adjusted slightly to account for the temperature and humidity in your
