🔆 Enhanced Dimmable Halogen Replacement: OTTOSEA Degrees Review

Pros: Really cool blue backlight. The color is great and modern. I've added photos comparing them to my amber halogen headlights. There is a clear difference. Cons: They look fake and plasticky and stick out like a sore thumb in a chandelier. You can see in the photos that you can hardly tell the clear bulbs that came with the light from the real lights/crystals. It is obvious. Conclusion: I will return them for the transparent bulbs.

Searched through G9 halogen lamps for the stove lamp under our microwave. Decided to try LED. Bright is bright! Low is low. Off really low. It doesn't turn off completely. It's so dark that you don't notice it during the day, but you can see it at night. Something like a faint night light. For the price you can't beat it. 5 of these cost me as much as ONE halogen replacement. Haven't decided yet if I like the fact that it doesn't turn off completely.

Purchased IKEA 7 inch Sakura globe bulbs with 25 watt halogen bulbs. The table lamp was knocked off the mantel and somehow didn't break the sphere. But he broke the lightbulb. Couldn't find a replacement lamp in the Ikea online store. So I found these 3 watt LED light bulbs. Fits and works great. So the LED bull has the same power of 25W. So the old lamp consumed 25 watts per hour and the LED lamp 3 watts per hour at 25 watts of power. That means you now leave that lamp on for 8 hours instead…
