Perfect coverage and weight distribution!

Whisk is perfectly balanced. This makes it easy to use and even easier to clean. Now if Oxo Good Grips would only release a silicone coated French whisk I would think I would have died and gone to heaven.

Cons

Too much resistance is good for kitchen utensils and gadgets

Silicone Whisk has strong liquid resistance. As a result, it is more difficult to use than plain wire. I will only use this for nonstick cookware recommending non-metal cookware and preferring wire cookware for everything else.

Pros
  • It's Amazing
Cons
  • Nothing Here

I've searched up and down for a good silicone whisk and haven't found a strong one. My others had wooden handles and the heads broke off the handles. I haven't had any problems with this whisk. I can easily clean it in the dishwasher and use it in hot pots and pans. Holds up great.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Weight

Thinking about buying a cheaper instrument? I wouldn't hit him.

Sorry to say that. The whisk is very good. I find it important to have both a whisk and a silicone whisk. If you're mixing something in a nonstick pan, you don't want to scratch it with wires. But if you really need a powerful whisk to make sauces in a carbon steel or cast iron skillet while scraping the chunks of meat off the bottom, use a whisk. This is a reasonable price for a great tool.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging

Once and done.: Kitchen and dining room

I bought this whisk to use with a ceramic grill to avoid scratching it. I used it for the first time last night to whip up a gumbo sweat. Anyone who's cooked gumbo knows how long it takes to whip up a roux to get it where it's supposed to, and heck, that whisk rode the wrestling bus halfway. It's too thin to whip for long periods of time or to whip thicker liquids like roux. Will try to return as I know the thing will fall apart the next time I use it, at the moment it barely lasts a lifetime…

  • Great design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Not sure I'll like it (but I hope so!)

I'm a big fan of OXO products. I have several, one of which is a rubber bottomed kitchen bowl that has lasted over 20 years and still works! Based on the brand, I bought this silicone whisk as well as a 9 inch whisk; I did this because I recently acquired a nice set of non-stick cookware that I didn't want to damage with a traditional metal whisk. When I first used this whisk, I was very surprised at how different it was from a traditional whisk. Metal whisk that I used to use. This whisk was…

For the price you pay this is a good whisk.

This whisk deserves 5 stars. The problem with many silicone whisks is that the silicone material that makes up the whisk wire is too soft, too flexible, and too yielding, greatly reducing whipping power. reduced. This problem is especially noticeable when whipping a thicker dough. It would be like swimming in molasses. This Oxo Silicone Whisk doesn't have that problem - or should I say the least amount of pliability (flexibility) compared to other brands. And it is only slightly inferior to the
