Broken kitchen and dining item

I bought two packs of these products. They were vacuumed upon receipt. I opened the packaging, immediately grabbed the essentials and sealed the packaging again with food protection film. The bag did not re-sealed and the absorbers did not heat up. The other bag had the same result. Don't buy this. I use oxygen scavengers often, so I know how to use them.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • No instructions

10 years ago we first used them for (dry) things. I buy 20 lb and 50 lb bags of sale items and in bulk at already discounted prices. Yes, Cosco and Sams. We use both pint and liter Mason jars with them. Each children's family has 7 boxes at home and sends back jars to me for canning or refilling with dried goods. We have more cases in the salon. Great, bears don't smell and leave us alone.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Many things

Keeps fresh!

Bought these to keep my homemade chopsticks nice and fresh. I put 5 chopsticks in a vacuum bag, throw one out, vacuum seal it, seal it and throw it in the fridge or freezer. It's easy to hand out to friends as they drink beer and all sorts of nonsense. Just make sure you seal the ones you don't use. Otherwise, you'll find that they start absorbing right away, and with a full pack you get a nice chemical reaction that heats up the absorbers pretty quickly.

Pros
  • I keep my fingers crossed
Cons
  • I'm silent

Do not buy this product, it does NOT work!

I bought 100ml bags to add to my vacuum sealing process to remove residual oxygen. To test and make sure they work, I took one out of the box to do an outside test and sealed the box with the remaining oxygen scavengers. I checked during the day, the opened packaging never warmed up or even warmed up, and even after 24 hours it didn't get as hard as it should, this is too important for long-term storage to NOT work properly.

Pros
  • Always Liked
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled

Not the best option for home use

This might be a decent product if you are a commercial product recycler. If you do this at home in separate packages at once, these aren't the ones you need. They expire (lose potency) too quickly. Had to throw away over 60 packs as they were no longer effective even after resealing the pack they received within 2 minutes I will not be buying again. If they sold 100 bags of 10 instead of all 100 in a bag, it might be worth trying again.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • I will add later

old stock? in kitchen and dining room

I use oxygen absorbers regularly and try to order only what I need for a few months so they don't sit around and lose hmm. But here's what happened to these guys. Oxygen scavengers should be kept for about 6 months from the time the package is opened when properly stored. At 6 weeks, mine completely shot itself. I put them in dry food jars and carefully store the unused OA in the smallest airtight glass container. I quickly open it, pull out what I need and close the jar to keep it fresh. Maybe

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Poor set

The eye is pink, which is good.

I bought some of these for long-term food storage and I remember reading another review that said they were "used" as they were already doing their job , because the eye was a certain color. I cut open the package. Use 3 or 4 packs and the indicator eye quickly started to turn purple. I worked as fast as I could and I have a Foodsaver vacuum sealer so I sealed the main package asap. The eye turned a few shades of purple, but turned bright pink again the next day, as the rest of the packet had…

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • There are nuances

Don't forget to store them in an airtight container.

. There was a woman who took dehydration very seriously. I mean, she stored her dried foods in a vacuum bag, then placed them in another vacuum bag, and then in a food bucket (which is exactly what she did with foods she kept for long-term storage). She placed oxygen scavengers in each bag. The food that was dehydrating her and that she would use up sooner rather than later was sent to Mason's Jars. She also put O2 packets (1 per quart) in jars. Then she used the lid and the ring as if for…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast.
Cons
  • Crumpled.
