Good with Raspberry Pi

I built a Raspberry Pi radio that powers speakers via an amplifier module. Both the amp and the Pi are powered by the same 12V power supply (there is a 12VDC to 5VDC converter to give the Pi 5V). I had a lot of noise consistent with the Pi's operation and I suspected the ground loop being installed by this setup. I placed this accessory between the audio out of the Pi and the audio in of the amp and now I have absolute silence and no hiss at startup. Also, as another reviewer noted, the brandโ€ฆ

Great solution for Wrangler JK and Stock 130RES HU

This was purchased in my car after purchasing a bluetooth to 3.5mm device. At first I hoped I wouldn't need it, but like many people, the buzzing, hissing, and squeaking I heard every time I used a Bluetooth device to play music from my phone became unbearable. Anyway, fast forward to Pac's isolator, it's a bit bigger than I was hoping for so think about where to hide it. The device establishes a connection between a Bluetooth device and the head unit of your car. For my Wrangler I tucked itโ€ฆ

For the price ok nothing more.

Cheap switching power supplies are notorious for generating electrical noise. This can be annoying, annoying and difficult to track down when trying to fix the problem. Specially designed for home theater, pro audio, audiophile, podcast or broadcast installations. Or powerful car audio systems. ground loops? Well, it's another annoying noisy creature. In short, this is not an Ebtech HE-2 or a Behringer HD-400. But after already spending a lot of money on them, I decided to try them as anโ€ฆ

Excellent noise cancellation with no silence

I have a 2006 Acura with a GTA car kit and the alternator whine while charging was extremely annoying. After reading the reviews I still had concerns about this device. 1) Does it work "backwards"? 2) Will it muffle the sound? So here's what I found: 1) It definitely works in reverse. Since the car kit requires me to plug my phone's output into the 'input' side of the unit, I really had no choice as to how to 'route' the signal. I immediately noticed a huge improvement. The howling is stillโ€ฆ

POOR case design, great sound quality (when working)

Here is a YouTube video review I made, read the description I put below at https://www.youtube.com/watch ?v =X3MIIzqUdBc ---------- This video is too long for the amount of content it contains. A long video jumps to 4min 15s and listens to the left channel dropping out depending on the position of the audio cable - bad! Great audio components but poor build quality makes for a poor product. This is the video of the second (first returned) block from PAC. The first showed the same behaviorโ€ฆ

Really surprised it helped a bit. Wish it came in a nicer case

Update: downgraded to 3.5/5 stars. After using it a bit more and playing another game. The hum/noise still seems to be there. It's not that bad, but I MUST use balanced output cables. When using unbalanced (RCA) cables for my monitors, I still get hiss/hum at near maximum volume. As I said, it's not that bad if I use this ground loop isolator. I was hoping this would completely eliminate the hum when using RCA cables as inputs and outputs, but it doesn't. This product helps eliminate or reduceโ€ฆ

The loss in volume and precision is better than the unpleasant hum and buzz.

Well made, does what it promises. I have a 26 year old Mazda and when I charge an audio device connected to my car I hear a buzzing/spinning noise. When I received this in my mailbox, I immediately linked it to the journey home. That worked! I was stuck in traffic all the way home enjoying my free music. While at home I decided to find out if the lack of volume was noticeable in my own ear. My results were disappointing. The perceptible volume loss almost corresponded to the "volume" of the hum
