💡 F8T5 CW 4100K Fluorescent Pack Review

Lamp does not rotate a full 90 degrees in socket. As a result, the light does not reach the fixed position and locks into place. Tried three of the six in the box, all had the same problem. Checked if everything is ok with the socket/bracket. I put my old non-working lightbulb in the socket and it worked normally.

I needed new bulbs to replace my burnt out bulbs. I chose these 6 packs because yes they were cheap. The specified color temperature is 6500K. This is more of a daylight lamp so your fish may look a little dull and not very flattering when used in your aquarium. It's not the fault of the bulb, I was expecting a whiter 6500k as this seemed a bit flat in terms of brightness. You will hear a rattling noise in the bulb when you shake it, but it seems to be working fine.

Item not as described. It was supposed to be 4100 Kelvin but was a lot warmer than a larger bulb of the same 4100K reading (both were needed to match my kitchen cabinet lights). It even comes from the same company. Both came from KOR, but good luck getting them. The Revain rep I spoke to couldn't even find their contact information! He googled her name (as if I hadn't already) and then sent me the wrong link to a government website (obviously not a lighting company).

All six were broken where the metal ends meet the glass tubes. The boxes were in good condition so I can only conclude that the problem was in China where they were made. The idiots at Revain want me to send them back even though they give off toxic mercury fumes. Update: Googled "Contact Revain Customer Service" and was able to get in touch with a live person on chat who, after more than 15 minutes, issued a refund without having to return the broken bulbs. The automated process was useless.

I bought a pack of 6 of these 6500K daylight fluorescent tubes. All were short-lived, despite what the packaging said. Some lasted several days. . . and others, a few hours. These lamps had the lowest reliability rating of any product I have ever purchased. China is famous for cheap products. When a consumer has to replace defective goods with truckloads, that's hardly a bargain. What happened to quality control? The "Made in China" label on this product meant mass-produced. Shame!

Here I am looking for new T5 bulbs for base cabinet lighting. It feels like I did it just a few months ago. Oh wait I did. Firstly, Revain does NOT know how to ship lamps. They usually come in a padded envelope and usually have a break or two on arrival. very small and not at all fragile will be in a cardboard box if an envelope is needed. These lamps look very good with quality parts and attention to detail (unlike the lamps that came with my lamps). The packaging is also well thought out and well packaged. I installed two of these bulbs in my under table light on August 7th. It is now August 12th and one of the lamps has failed after 120 hours of operation. Service. Unannounced lifespan of 20,000 hours. I hope this is just a one-time mistake, but I'm not optimistic. I used to use Philips brand bulbs that lasted at least a year with 24/7 use.
