High quality and durability!

I have been buying a similar item elsewhere for years for a higher price and slower delivery. I'm done with it now! I use it when making braided stainless steel tubing for hot rods as an anti-chafing sleeve and when making battery cables to cleanly seal the terminals on the cable. This brand did a great job! Sits perfectly with a hair dryer that has also activated the glue. No complaints, now I will buy regularly.

2 Gauge Battery Cable

I bought this for 2 gauge battery cables. The 3/4" size is what you need. When it arrived I almost immediately sent it back because it looked too big. I thought I'd try a test sample first and sure enough, it's greatly scaled down and works great, being a little bigger to start with it gets a little thicker as you compress as there is more material inside which is good because it gives more support and protection for the wire at the end.

Wow! It is great!

Works surprisingly well. I bought it to cover the worm gear clamps I have on the ends of my stock hoses. Previously, the clamp would stick to objects when winding the hose. It now glides directly over grass and around objects without getting caught. Also, it doesn't stick to my fingers that previously cut into my skin. The adhesive properties only become apparent when heated. Once heated, this material will solidify around what you are covering and you can see a small amount of glue ooze out at

  • Easy to use and quick - just heat the heat gun evenly until it wraps tightly around the wire or connector. This is a 3:1 shrink ratio and shrinks to the original 1/3. (The temperature of your hair dryer is up to 60°C, then the glue inside will soften and seal the connection.)
