Good terminals 1/4 " and 5/16 " studs for 4AWG, 1/4 " 8AWG aren't good

I've edited this review because I was thinking of another terminal I bought. These 4awg terminals are pretty well made. The 1/4" and 5/16" stud versions are made from different size blanks and have a substantial amount of material around the stud hole. The attached pic (terminals end to end vertically) are the 4awg terminals.The 8AWG version of the 1/4" stud has VERY thin margins around the stamped hole. The nut will over hang the sides of the terminal pad. The attached pic of the terminals…

I returned o got the wrong size, but nice set. And really what can I expect, definitely less expensive than the auto parts store.

Thick as heck and look good.

These take a lot of pressure to crimp. Don't buy these if you don't have a hydraulic crimper. They hold the wire with serious force and look awesome if you finish with heat-shrink tubing.

Great Customer Service

Most important: You don't need a heavy duty crimp tool like a hydraulic unit or the type that double hinge like bolt cutters or even the large pliers type. These terminals are not that thick, however, the garbage, thin, cheap, no name multi-tool crimp tools will not do, nobody should use them for anything, EVER. You only need a quality tool designed to crimp non-insulated 10G terminals such as the Klein 1019. 10G is the cut off for most tools so 8G bumps up the demand for compression strength…

Excellent heavy duty cable lugs for wire

These lugs are exactly what was required. They are exceptionally thick metal and well plated in tin. Used my hydraulic crimper to crimp these onto 2 awg tinned copper wire. These are probably the best quality lugs on Revain. I will be buying more of these in the future in several sizes that I will need. DON'T skimp on cheap lugs! These carry certification which means they have been tested.

These are not specific sizes but a range of sizes

I needed 8 gague lugs. The description specifically said 8 gague. They are 6-10 gague and after crimping had a lot of excess metal hangover which i wanted to avoid. Other than that they still crimp and bolt in place so i cant complain too much

It’s a buy on my review.

Yet thick. Worked well for my 10awg speaker wire. Used hydronic crimper. I have naught this item 3 times now. And will continue to buy thes for future installs.
