I have an old house and these discs work great with my 4.5" Milwaukee angle grinder for removing/preparing old painted exterior walls. These discs have the same performance as the HD discs and are better than the Harbor Freight discs (IMHO) and 1/3 cheaper. We ordered hundreds of dollars worth of these washers while building a 5,000 square foot log home. We sanded every inch of the logs inside and out, as well as stringers and rough-cut railings. You do an excellent job. You'll be surprised how smooth wood can be made - just as good as fine paper. I've always used wire brushes to remove rust and paint and I needed to be told that they are life changing. They do a good job of removing rust, but they do the best job of removing paint. I used an old truck angle grinder with them which is probably close to a 3 amp motor. What really impressed me is that they are not so bogged down that they reduce efficiency so I would say that if you have a coffee grinder with enough power it will work great as the ones I have used is probably one of the…
