🔧 Enhance Your Milling Precision with the Palmgren Milling Machine Vise 4 Review

I bought this vise for the following reasons; Low profile height, small footprint relative to opening size (4 inches). Vise accuracy is good. Purchased for use on a grizzly grinder which is smaller than a traditional vertical grinder. This vise maximizes cross feed travel and spindle to table clearance.

Vise may be fine but ships don't actually have the swivel base shown in the picture. For heaven's sake show me the right picture! We naively ordered this, thinking it was exactly what we wanted, and now we have to return it and get the 610B Palmgren 18602, which actually has a swivel base.

This vise is mounted on a Grizzly G0619 mill/drill or SX3 machine with a 6x21 table. The size is almost right, I wouldn't want anything bigger or taller. Of these vises, they certainly take up a lot of vertical space. The vises feel well made and look good. The jaw opening is 4 inches and the stroke is very smooth.
