As in LockLab by BosnianBill!

During the COVID period I have decided to take up a new hobby - in this case locksport. While it's easy enough to hold a padlock in your hand (and I do it all the time during conference calls), it doesn't offer a real experience when the padlock is in a static position. and some locks like the Ace A527 are downright creepy. Enter . PanaVise! This vise is sturdy with a decently weighted base that keeps it from falling off when I'm working against a fake set. This allows for unique positioning…

Nothing like that! Made in the USA and very versatile!

Tip: The vise plates can be flipped to grip something as narrow as a toothpick, or left as shown in Revain's drawing for wider objects like silicon wafers. I use it to hold lock cores for lock sports (a hobby is lock picking and modifying locks to make them more secure). Picked up by Locksport's godfather Bill on his Lock Lab YouTube channel. He is excellent. The truss pieces around the base are incredibly useful I think for any application you could use this for. The rubber feet are the…

Not the best vise

Dislikes: Expensive for a vise, mostly injection molded. It's not as heavy as I was hoping, so it will be more difficult to use one of the other heads for holding small parts for stapling without bolting it to the table, meaning it can't be easily moved if you just want something else without loosening angles. head and just turn your head. And that head that it came with isn't as ribbed as I'd like it to be. When I turn the handle it fists (probably because the screw is bent and the side sleeve

Not the quality I expected for the money.

Like many others I bought this to hold the locks which works very well as it's heavy enough to stay in place and the locks won't loosen in a vise . The main problems are that the metal coating on the base had blisters that kept coming off when touched with a finger (on the first and second ones I've received so far). Speaking of which, I'm currently waiting for my third as the second didn't come with cheeks, cheek pads or screws. Also, the way the jaws are squeezed from below is very uneven…

What a visa! - Power Tool Parts & Accessories

Great vise for small hobby jobs. I build circuits and electrical "things" and this was a huge advantage over other "helping hand" devices. Look, we've all been using the 2-hand for years, reinforcing the outstretched helping hand. My first was in high school over 30 years ago, and while it worked, it also had its downsides. I've never been able to hold anything so precisely and this vise just gives me the ability to find a way. They are solid with a heavy base and all threads and clamps are…

Very happy for many reasons. Panavise is great

I have to say I love this vise. Self-centering jaws are great, but two things really set them apart. 1. Super wide range. This is where all the others I've used fail. The smaller ones are only 2 inches apart. Spring. It stinks when you're working on a 2x4 piece of wood for something small (I cut out the wood). So it's fantastic to have such a wide range of clamp widths available2. Base. Now I didn't think I cared, the others I've used are the ones where you press a lever and suck it in with a…
