Paperraz Prehistoric Animal PaperCraft Kit Review

It took forever and the instructions were really more like trial and error. It looks great on my wall and welcomes people as they enter my home.

I purchased this item a few months ago and have only had one tooth glued so far. At first I thought I'd do a little something every night while watching TV. But there are many parts and you need a decent place away from pets or children because it's paper and if a part goes bad it basically disappears. In short, it's more work than fun.

Great work! Quality paper, clear lines/perforation. Quite a bit of time but as expected based on other reviews (probably 6-8 hours of work). The supplied glue was strong and clean to work with, but even with careful application I didn't have enough. Glue stick worked best as white elm (too runny to hold thick paper in time). All in all a fun project for me and a cool feature for my son's "Big Boy" room!

Really enjoyed putting this together. Yes, there is a certain level of difficulty, but if you enjoy crafting, puzzling, and want to try contortion at least once in your life, then this is what you need. Following the manufacturer's instructions, sort and fold the pieces ahead of time, then test the piece for size before gluing it together. As soon as I opened the box I knew it was going to be great. I've done a few other paper crafts before but this was definitely the hardest thing I've ever done and they say it's 5/5 difficulty. Details came out easily and lines were well defined. I used Aleene Turbo glue instead of the glue that came in the kit, but that's just personal preference. All the pieces also fitted together well and were generally straight forward, some small areas were a bit confusing and where they connected because the numbers overlapped, but I figured them out eventually…
