The bracket is a convenient way to mount the Parmak Solar Charger to a T-Rack, but design and packaging flaws are each worth a point. (1) They state that you need two 3/8" x #10, and they're not kidding: anything else will upset the battery. These are small things; they should be included but aren't. (2) The main reason you can't use longer bolts is that they only go one way, if you look at them the other way the nuts won't fit in. Simply widening the holes will solve this problem.

Purchased to mount a Parmak fence charger to a T-Pol. Yes I had to go and spend a dollar for the hardware that was supposed to come with the mount but there is a label that says very clearly what is required. Head to your local hardware store as Lowes/Home Depot (at the time) didn't have any special equipment. My biggest complaint is that the mount doesn't sit firmly on the post.
