Best Options: Internal components

The cables that came with it weren't long enough. The fan isn't "loud" but it's the loudest part of my setup and I can't turn it off. Loud enough for my mic to pick up the noise. I had to buy another.

Pros
  • Great selection
Cons
  • Good, but not great

CPU power cable too short for ATX builds

I had to very sloppily distribute the CPU power to get the board to do the initial power up. You will need to purchase extension cords to make proper wiring.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Null

Great power supply, wish the cables were a little longer

I wish the cables were a little longer as my case separates the power supply a bit from the rest of the box and cable length is wasted running cables through everything Contract. Everything worked but was close for a few connections.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Style 90

Bought for my first build. He died 11 months ago.

I received this as part of my first build. It was a budget build and was recommended by a friend based on specs and budget. Died 11 months later. Replaced with evga g3 650w (gold rated) $10 cheaper. No response from warranty replacement company. Either nobody can be reached on the number given, or the voicemail boxes are full, or there is no callback for a warranty replacement, although there is a 3-year warranty. I would not recommend buying.

Pros
  • Done
Cons
  • Some issues

CPU cables too short for ATX build

There were a lot of cables in the kit but unfortunately my ATX build had the PSU too deep in the case to access the CPU power connectors from the top. I was able to get the 8-pin connector to reach the top of the motherboard by gently clamping it under my chunky graphics card, but to be honest it was an eyesore. Do yourself a favor and if you can get this for a big MOBO buy about 8 inch CPU power upgrades so you can tuck it neatly behind anything. An 8 pin ATX 12v is pretty easy to find…

Pros
  • Special offer
Cons
  • Hard to tell
