Fits '98 Expedition 5.4L

This comes in handy when you need to remove the clutch fan (which I did to replace the radiator on a 1998 Ford Expedition 5.4L with towing kit). The small/long wrench is used at the end of the fan where it screws onto the pulley, while the larger wrench is designed to catch the small screws on the same pulley. I recommend using at least a 24" long breaker for the larger wrench, and a 1/2" ratchet works great for the smaller wrench.

  • Very Good Price

  • Available in white only

Worked great Ford 4.2 2000 F150

timing cover gasket. This tool worked great on the 2000 Ford F150 4.2 V6 which means it should work on any Ford 4.2L engine. I literally loosened a 20 year old fan clutch nut in seconds when I was ready for a freaking fight. I was very pleased as it gave me time for another beer.

Fantastic to use if you don't have air tools!

I used this on my 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer. I don't have air tools so I needed something better than a confused car rental company. Without you I would not have been able to change this information! All I had to do for my model was remove two screws, attach a bar, and then tighten it. From that point on I was able to loosen the big nut with both hands as this tool kept the clutch from turning! Enormous time and frustration savings! I would recommend this to anyone trying to do this job…

Ford Fan Clutch Kit

This review is for the Ford Fan Clutch Kit. This set was perfect for my needs. I used this to remove the fan clutch on a 2001 f-150 5.4 liter petrol engine. It took longer to remove things to get to the fan clutch, then it broke and was replaced with a new clutch with this kit. The metal of the two tools that came with it was thicker than I expected. I imagine they would be difficult to bend unless you have too much unintended side force compared to what is used to loosen or tighten the fan…

  • Pretty Packaging

Works great!

I was a little apprehensive before purchasing when I saw some photos of this tool in a bent condition. All I can say is that anyone who bends must have a nasty stuck fan clutch nut! This tool is very durable and thick! I kept trying to keep the belt as taut as possible and hit the wrench with a 4 pound hammer and it just spun in the serpentine belt. After trying for 45 minutes I gave up and went to AutoZone for a tool. They had nothing to rent. I think it's too old fashioned now. But saw this…

WILL NOT fit the TOP of 13mm bolts BUT.

This tool sounds like it will fit MORE 10mm and 13mm screw heads but not 13mm screw heads. not even close!. I used it on my 2002 Olds Bravada (4.2L engine) as do most Outriders, Envoys etc so I simply removed 2 bolts (13mm) this tool into the open holes on the water pump pulley plugged in and then backed off the 2 bolts while holding the tool, used my giant adjustable wrench on the fan clutch nut, held both in place and used a little muscle strength. freed! I was so happy! But please revise the

Simple and easy Good for parts

Okay. I admit it; I"addicted to instruments". I bought this because I was changing the fan clutch in my '98 GMC Sierra. Job I did on a previous GM truck. And vowed that if I ever replaced the fan clutch again I would have a "tool". And I *hopelessly"drug addict". And cheaper than $20? I could not resist. It's as simple as it gets. This will allow you to hold the fan stationary while you pull the large wrench you have on the large nut that holds the threaded sleeve on the water pump drive. The…

Great tool for GMC owners.

There's nothing quite like these fan clutch removal tools. I spent hours arguing with the fan clutch pulley and nut. Needless to say I lost. This only took two minutes. The holes on this one are too small for 13mm screw heads. The trick with 13mm bolts (like mine) is to remove two adjacent bolts from the water pump pulley and thread the tool onto the pulley exactly where you removed the two bolts. Screw in the screws flush. It's not necessary to turn it, but you can destroy the screw's threads…
