I bought this because I wanted my TV to be a little taller than it is now. They claimed this could be used on a 65 inch TV. My TV is 60 inch and it didn't work at all. What a serious pain in the neck! None of the screws or sockets on the included hardware fit directly into my 55" Samsung flat panel TV. The VESA template was fine as advertised, but the screws/eyelets used to attach the stand to the back of the TV weren't the right fit.
