Lame product and terrible quality.

Bought it for my cars. I smeared the candle insulator with it. Very thin layer. As a result, on 3 cars where he did it (on new candles), the cars troit and do not accelerate. After I washed off this grease, everything went away. I do not recommend anyone to buy. Money down the drain. I bought some for the maturity of new candlesticks.

When used correctly, this product prevents water and .

When used correctly, this product will prevent water and other contaminants from entering the contact end of the spark plug. The product should be applied around the insulating part of the connector and should not penetrate deep into the jacket where the contact end is. A dielectric is an electrical insulator, it does not contribute to electrical connection but serves to prevent it. Lubrication is to prevent water and other materials from exiting to the end. I apply grease around the plug…

It requires a little thought before putting it on

It needs a little thought before putting it on. This dielectric is not a conductor but an insulator. It's silicone, and silicone is an insulator that doesn't dry out but smudges easily, so you have to be careful when putting it down. It's designed to seal water around the rubber boot fittings in other places where water shouldn't get in. It is not designed for electrical contacts, sockets, etc. Google uses Diakectric to make sure you understand before using this product. There's a silver-based…

Where can it be used? that's a problem.

The world has yet to come together on the exact application of fat dielectric. Some people use it for pretty much everything, and others use the excuse that "it doesn't conduct electricity". Of course, it does not conduct electricity, it only helps protect components from corrosion - water-moisture-salt-dirt. But there is still debate about where to use it. I've seen people online using it for pretty much everything. They show tests showing it draws very little conductivity from the junction…

Real pure silicone grease. Good material!

The original with no additives or "stretch marks" like teflon or oil (suitable for some applications but not many). A good material for electrical, high voltage, brake and high temperature equipment, lubricant for O-rings, syringes, pumps, valves, etc. It is a fair priced item used by most industrial companies and also has many uses in the household. I wrote this review because it can be difficult to find a clean item online. Typically, blends marketed as "silicone grease" just don't cut it…

Great offer; many uses

This is 3 oz silicone grease (dielectric grease). I paid about $8 and the ad showed a package with Japanese writing on it. Doesn't matter? The same product with English labeling in the ad costs twice as much. I ended up getting the last one anyway. For comparison, a half-ounce tube of Danco Grease costs $4. Good material and good applicator tip but expensive. I use this to protect electrical connections on vehicle wiring and solder joints before wrapping them in heat shrink tubing. I also use…
