This is my favorite lock. The gel does not dry out. It's stronger than the blue liquid and can withstand higher temperatures, but doesn't need to be heated to break it apart.

I used this for its intended purpose after watching a few YouTube videos and it works great. There are different types of threadlockers for different situations, so choose the right one.

Threadlocker Permatex isn't the only good threadlocker, but it's as good as any (I've used it) and the gel stick is the key. A gel pen is the only method of dispensing threadlock that I will use. As clean and tidy and as strong as liquid screw lock. A+A+A+A+A+

Much easier to fit than Loctite. It turns out like a good gel, and not like a transparent drop. It's easier to control the flow with a swivel applicator (such as a glue stick). Never use Loctite again. This thing worked for me and got everywhere except the threads, even got in my mouth a bunch of times. Loctite has a sweet taste.

If you use thread sealant, you know it can be difficult to get the right amount and only where you want it. This stuff was an AHA MOMENT for me. I was able to apply just the right amount and it stayed where I put it. Only time will tell how well it does its job, but I've learned to trust other products from this company that I've used, so I expect similar results from this threadlocker.
