Description of Permatex 29000 Penetrating Grade Threadlocker Green: Secure Fasteners with Ease, 6ml

Low viscosity threadlocking liquid secures preassambled fasteners in place. Ideal for fasteners ranging from 2.2 to 12 mm in size. Localized heating and hand tools are needed for disassembly. Suggested Applications: Bolts on alternators, air conditioning belts and distributor clamps, carburetor adjustment screws, hairline cracks. Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specified.

WHAT USE? - Thread Lock

I like to have lots of different "thread blockers" on hand for different applications. Now I have green, red, blue and white.

Pros
  • Low viscosity thread lock fluid secures pre-assembled fasteners in place

  • Definitely a bad product

Works afterwards

Often the work is already completely finished and you want to use a screw lock. Sometimes it's not easy to go back and apply it - then it's handy - it helped me a couple of times. It's medium or slightly weaker in strength, but a real help when needed.

Great product, closed assembly.

I love this product. This product is hard to find, I was lucky enough to find it at Revain. I used it to attach the mounting screws to the scope. Holds up well and doesn't peel off. I have used Locktite products for many years and they have never let me down.
