For those of you wondering how big a cat fits in this item and if it's just for miniature cats, my two 15 lb cats got each other with a friend seated next to each other on the top platform and seem to share it in complete comfort. One or the other spends 90 percent of the day on the platform or in the tube; I installed it by the window in my office and it has also increased my productivity as I don't have many cats that want to sit on my lap like that. This is the perfect size for a windowsill.

You get what you pay for, it's good hardwood with a good finish and the parts they sit/lie on are super soft faux fur material instead of regular carpet which is really nice because it doesn't rip or make a big mess that much . My cats love it! When I first put it on, my "problem child" was in the round tube and her cat brother was on top. Edited review: After a month all the composite material around the joint on the square part that connects to the ground broke. It was never too strong and then it broke. Cats use it as a scratching post, but it doesn't work like perch. For me, the materials in which the device connects to the base are very cheap and easy to understand for the cost of this item. Pet Fusion makes great products and I have purchased 2 of these activity trees. I also bought 2 jumbo sun loungers and 4 sun loungers. My cats LOVE all of these products, WHY only 3 stars for the promotion tree? All Pet Fusion products are disposable by design.
