I have the right one for my faucet! (Kai?)

My faucet started dripping from a tiny crack in the black plastic. I've looked at almost all the fittings on the Pfister website and I'm 90% sure I have Kai. I bought it hoping it was the right one and it was! I didn't use any tools to install it other than a bucket to catch the water when I took the original off. I used kitchen gloves when unscrewing the headpiece to give me extra grip and make sure it was tight.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Nothing here

Easy to fix bad hose swivel

Really didn't want to pay a plumber for this as I installed it 3 years ago and thought it was just a bad connection. Not so. After studying the instructions, I looked at the hose in the tap, the connection that was obviously fitted does not fit properly on the hose. Thought I'd look for that part of the hose, I found it at Revain. I went with it even though the part number isn't listed in the manual because the description had the correct faucet name. Assembling, turning on the water andโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • No instructions

Easy replacement for a leaking hose

Every week I take the faucet off and hook up an aquarium cleaning system to the faucet hose and repeated stresses have been causing the hose to leak in a number of places lately. I postponed the exchange because I expected it to be a hassle, but it turns out it couldn't be easier. It took me longer to find my crescent wrench, which I didn't even need, than to install a new hose. I removed the faucet head, turned off theโ€ฆ
