🔦 Enhanced Visibility: Piaa 5370 Black LED Fog Lamp Kit in White Shade Review

Superb fog lamp. I mounted them on my Harley Davidson street handlebars and they match my Kuryakyn LED headlight and low beam perfectly. I highly recommend these lights. I didn't use the included derailleur, but I did use a Harley chrome derailleur and derailleur housing.

I fitted this to an Ironman 4x4 bumper and was impressed with the light output. The lamp itself is solid and well made. Upon delivery, one of the holes for the mounting bolts failed due to the bolt rolling without tightening. It has been on the Devan for several months and has weathered heavy rain, dust and mud with no problems. Once again PIAA have made a very good product

Used on my 2019 Indian Scout. Mounts on GLR-50MM-2 mounts (available for searching on Revain). The lights aren't as bright as I expected, but they're fog lights, so it's not exactly "brighter is better". Only driven about 100 (horrible) miles but they appear to be very well made. I ended up removing the entire derailleur system and just soldering the wires to my bike's existing 12 volt auxiliary cables.

So I just updated my review. These lights are much dimmer than the 510 series they sell. Just take a halogen. They look much better and have much higher quality parts. They just don't have a backlight to illuminate the road in any way. They have an access point that can illuminate the gate, but they don't emit real light. Back to the Type 510 fog lights. They were much better in every area, including the color cast. Their hue is too blue to be usable even if they were bright enough.

I installed these headlights on my 2012 Subaru Forester and ordered a factory column turn signal with fog light switch and factory fog light relay. The PIAA headlights are easy enough to mount using a mounting hole where the factory fog lights would have been. I then used styrofoam (pipe insulation) to cover the hole to fill the gap between the PIAA lights and the sides of the hole. Sometimes you have to wonder who does the product descriptions in Revain. This is not stamped steel with glass lenses. Luminaire body/body is cast aluminium. The lens is made of plastic. This is a good combination for an LED lamp. It's lightweight and durable. No relay is included as a pair of these bulbs only draw about 12 watts - 1 amp. Overall I'm very happy with this after 2-3 hours of fiddling with connections and wiring. Installation was a breeze thanks to Revain's PIAA 30330 brackets, and the kit included the bare minimum of extras. Advantages? Bright white light with a narrow vertical pattern that's easy to direct where you want it.
