Can be made to work

These are designed to only work with Pilot knobs which, while annoying, are easily repaired by opening the wrong end with a small screwdriver. It fits easily into a standard pen. I experience significant ink bleed when used with my Pilot Parallel, but when used with my Jinhao pens the ink writes well and has minimal bleed. A little uncomfortable but good for the price.

Purple is the best color in the set

Wanted to try different colors. It's fun, but so far the only color I recommend is purple. That is amazing! Bought two more packs of purple. I gave a friend 2 purple cartridges and she says she didn't like her metropolitan pilot with m pen until she put the purple cartridge in it. Yes, it fits other Pilot fountain pens except Pilot Parallel. I put them in my Pilot Kakuno pens.

nice range of nib sizes

I've been using a cursive handwriting called Chancery Cursive for over 50 years and these pens are every bit as good as any I've used including nibs. I used to write checks and take notes in a quantum chemistry class with a similar pen I made by grinding down the nib of a wide-nib fountain pen. The range of pen sizes in this set covers everything I need from fountain pens, including using other fonts when I'm away from home. PLEASE NOTE: These pens are designed for wide tip calligraphy such as…

Item arrived as shown. Inside, as expected, are 12 color-coded cartridges. I like the variety of colors. However, this ink seemed too wet to me, almost like watercolour. When used with the parallel pilot pen, the ink bleeds and bleeds profusely on plain carbon or lined paper. Using specialty paper (for calligraphy or watercolor) will probably give better results, but I haven't tried it. Some colors are not as accurate as stated on the packaging. For example, bright yellow looks dull and…

Poor ink supply.: Calligraphy Pens

I bought these to decide what colors I like best for my Pilot Metro short nib. The black ink that came with my pen was great, as was the Monteverde ink I tried, but this ink isn't good. Even on the Rhodia paper, the purple line showed through. It might be better to work with a finer pen or lighter colors but I have what I have and don't really care for lighter colors as I use this pen for journaling not drawing. flows well. Maybe half the time they just don't work moving down even if the ink is

Large selection, average quality.

I like the wide range of colors and I like to mix them. However, I can do this with almost any ink. To be honest, I prefer to simply fill used cartridges with the ink that I like. This way I can choose how much ink I want to add to each and I don't have to use the entire cartridge of the same color at once, leaving nothing for later. In fact, I don't know of any good way to store an open cartridge without making a mess or drying it out. When refilling my own I can use as many as I want, any…

Pilot Pens: priceless, sold under

These refills are designed for Pilot pens, namely Plumix and Parallel Pen. So you want to use them for another fountain pen, converter or bottle? no Get off this site immediately, or at least accept the fact that you are making a mess. This happens from the kindness of the soul of a person who has experienced many blue-black spots. The colors in this cartridge pack are gorgeous alongside a wide range of choices: pink, red, orange, yellow, lime green, green, teal, blue, purple, sepia, blue-black

For the price, you can't beat this Pilot Parallel Pen. For less than $5 you get 12 different colors to play with. And they're not just for calligraphy. I use mine for calligraphy, yes, but I also use them for my art. I love my pilot parallel in art. Art magazines, handmade postcards, pretty much anything I create. Yes, these inks are killers. Yes, you *could* refill your own pen - and I did for a number of reasons. For example I like India Ink and sometimes I want to use them. But they are MUCH
