Since Plantronics became Poly

I have been a Plantronics customer for years and order many headsets for myself and my co-workers. Quality has never been an issue and customer service has always been great. I bought a Plantronics Blackwire 7225 headset for my wife as she has to work from home and the headset broke. This isn't normally a problem with Plantronics, but we've been working with Poly for over a month to find a suitable replacement headset for my wife. I still hope to update this review with a positive solution, but

Not "USB Type A " although the product description and image show a Type A connector

1 ) The product Description says "USB Type A".2) The product image shows the USB Type A connector.3) The quick start guide that came with the headset shows the USB Type A and USB Type C connectors Connections.4) The headset I received, it is USB Type C5) There was no USB Type A connector or converter in the box received. Short circuit after 3 months of moderate use

I liked the stemless design and upgraded my old Plantronics 725 to this new model. Got the same great features like ANC, a mute button, plus the lack of a mic boom and the addition of player controls. The USB connector had an LED mute indicator. The ear pads were larger, softer and more comfortable than the Plantronics 725. After 3 months of light use, the headset suddenly stopped working. Bracelet breaks too easily

This headset is fragile. I had two of these and both broke in the same place. The plastic that attaches the earpiece to the temple spring is thin and brittle. After the first broke, I was even more careful with the second. It broke this week. First purchase September 2020. The first return was outside of Revain's returns window and I had to pay shipping to ship the unit back to Plantronics. They replaced the device but now I have the exact same problem.
