I feel like I'm going to break them

I bought this set because I'm still learning to knit and wanted a more complete set than what I learned. I have two pairs of aluminum needles that I prefer but can't find a set for a reasonable price. That's why I ordered these. Immediately after that I notice that the little needles are really bent, I have the feeling I'm about to break them off. Larger sizes are slightly stronger. The needles themselves aren't entirely smooth either, I haven't used them yet, but I don't think that will be a…

Great for Beginners

Bought this kit for my daughter to learn to knit. She was trying to learn from my metal needles and they were too slippery. Acrylic creates more friction with the yarn so stitches don't fall out. The needle shapes are pretty good, but there is a seam running the full length of the needle that you can feel. The stitch doesn't catch on the yarn, but the needles just aren't quite smooth and round when you touch them. Bright colors and a cute case make knitting even more fun. Sizes are stamped on…

Big. But not for me

I bought these needles based on the reviews and thought they might be great as I think I'm still in the "beginner" stage. Although I've only been knitting for about a month, I'm pretty good at it (except at extreme speed) because I really enjoy it and my determination has made it one of my greatest passions. These needles are a nice color and the large sizes seem strong enough to do medium to large projects, but I'm not sure I believe in the smaller sizes either because they just seem prone to…
