I have a 76# German shepherd who chews everything. This leash serves its purpose. She can't chew it through. The grip could be softer. It's a little rough to hold but it's a good product.

I'm afraid if I just lift the handle it might come loose. My lab puppy can pull a lot when another dog is around. But there's a latch you can attach a hook to for a stronger grip if that happens. The chain itself is beautiful. Light enough, not too thick, looks good. I no longer have to worry about my dog being quiet (leash chewing) in the back seat.

I have a large, strong dog that has chewed on every other leash I've tried. He tugs and pulls and chews on that leash and he held it tight. The paint hasn't even peeled off his chews (he's trying to play tug-of-war). I was concerned about the clasp, first impression was that it looked flimsy but it held. Bonus, he's cute and glows under a black light. I definitely recommend it.

We've been using this in the car to and from kindergarten for about 10 months now and it still looks brand new. I was afraid the color would fade but so far it's holding up well. I use this size on a 75 lb Great Pyrenees mix and it seems like the right weight. It's a little rough on my hands when I have to take the sag while it's moving, so it's definitely only used for car time. A great option for pups like mine who like to chew on the leash in the back seat!
