They don't look like the long gloves Playtex used to make. they are short Can they wash dishes? Yes. But don't plan on cleaning the toilet before you've lowered the waterline. Although I can use them for other purposes. Even though they are XL they seem to be bigger so I will have to order L next time.

They fit well and are lined nicely making them easy to put on and take off. I have been using this product for many years and until recently bought it at my local grocery store. I had skin problems that were made worse by hot water and soap when washing dishes. My hands are real XL and I chose them because they come in different sizes. XL fits XL. They will be tight a few times you use them, but then loosen up after a few uses and you can put them on and take them off fairly easily. Playtex advertised its gloves for those suffering from 'hands under the dishes' on TV in the '60s. And they are still good gloves. But if you have XL arms like me, you know that some things say they're XL, but they're not. They are tight but they are XL size gloves. I've only opened one pack so far, but these are better than disposable hiking gloves because you can just soak them in some chlorox and water for a minute or so when you get home. Let them dry on your dish rack and you're good to go
