🚗 Improved XR-I Points Replacement (1967-1974) for Oldsmobile by FAST 750-1720 Review

Spring-loaded installation. Improves starting and idling. Don't expect a huge gain in mpg. If that's what you're looking for, go to HEI. And no more fiddling with glasses, that's another big plus. Made in the USA.

I've used Pertronix in the past with no problems (I liked it) but this time I went with Crane. It ran fantastic for about 10 minutes but after stopping at a gas station for gas it wouldn't start. Luckily I saved the points in the car and was able to drive home. I received a full refund so thanks to Crane for helping me with this but I cannot give this product a 5 star rating. FYI I checked the ballast as described and followed the instructions up to 't' so I don't see how my adjustment affected

this ignition system sucks i installed it and it lit up turned it off and then it wouldn't start i called support and they said me was supposed to send it back which i did and they said it was ok they sent it back so i reinstalled it thinking i did something wrong but no luck. I called back and they said they would replace it and send it back so a few weeks later I got the package and it was the same original unit so I called and they said they found the problem and fixed it. So back to hell…
