I am very satisfied! I usually get headaches when I paint with diamonds in backlight, I've never had a headache. The lighting is adjustable, I posted a video about different light settings. Very easy to use and it doesn't get hot in my lap. This is the perfect size for kneeling use. This is a big turning point where I'm trying to see what I'm doing.

The lightweight design makes it easy to take with you when you want. I needed a new lightbar as my old lightbox died. What I love about it is that you can use magnets to hold the paper in place. It comes with 2 magnets but I use 4 tiny rare earth magnets to hold the paper in place. The three levels of brightness are excellent, and the brightest can be viewed clearly even on 120# watercolor paper. I use it with an external battery which allows me to easily use it for several hours on a single charge. A must have for any artist working on the go.

So I decided to scan my film negatives with a DSLR instead of a flatbed scanner and the quality is much better. Other lightweight pads cost double or quadruple! This one does the job and for less than $20, what more could you ask for. Has 3 brightness levels. You should use the highest for film scanning.
