Description of πŸ’‘ Enhanced Power Relay Module for Advanced Control Voltage Management

Input control signal: Voltage AC or DC 24V, Current 17mA. Output switch DPST 1NO 1NC(Double Pole Single Throw, 1x Normally Open and 1x Normally Close ), rated current 8A/250VAC or 8A/30VDC (one switch). Compact plastic case and wires connects for easy mount. LED indication for relay action. This is a simple and practical passive relay module, which is very convenient to use. It can support both Normally Open and Normally Close. Two screw mounting holes are convenient for you to fix it on the wall or wooden board. Of course, you can also choose not to lock the screw. I wanted to install a timer (see attached picture) on a low voltage/mV fireplace insert that was activated by a traditional toggle switch. I pulled 120 volts into the fireplace mug's junction box from a nearby switch. I then hooked up the relay and timer as shown in the attached schematic. Works perfectly, now I can just press the timer button and the fireplace will light up for that time. Fitting the switch and relay into a single box was EXTREMELY tight and required the plastic bracket to be…

Pros

Cellar light control with staircase light switch

I only use the basement light when I have the stair light on (when I go to the basement). But when I went upstairs I kept leaving the basement light on after I turned off the stairwell light and saw that the basement was still light. To do this I have to go downstairs to turn them off again. I used this product to connect a basement light source and control it with a stairwell light switch. For the basement lighting, both the staircase light switch and the basement light switch must now be…

Pros
  • Compact plastic housing and cable for easy installation. LED indication of relay actuation.
Cons
  • Dear

Was working to fix an issue with the Nest thermostat.

Bought to control the heater relay on my stove. I have a nest thermostat and the heater relay pulls through an amplifier which caused the nest to fail because it's only rated for about 250mA. I first bought a standard relay box that could be controlled with an outlet and loaded the relay instead. The relay box I bought was supposed to work on 24V AC, but after trying three different relays they all had a rattling problem, probably due to the AC control voltage and because the relays were cheap.

Pros
  • This is a simple and practical passive relay module, very convenient to use. It can support both normally open and normally closed modes. Two screw mounting holes are convenient for mounting on a wall or wooden board. Of course, you can also choose not to block the screw.
Cons
  • Not trendy
