Clamps were not properly designed or manufactured to design

Clamps can only be used at the end of the rail. You had to be able to slide over the rail's slot so you could clip the rail on any length of tree that your rail could cover. The area where the clip is bent is too thick and will not allow it to slide over the track slot without stitching to fit.

  • . Understood!
Cons
  • So-so

Dewalt Track Saw Special Review

Purchased to fit a Dewalt Track Saw. By default, this collar will not fit the Dewalt saw guide. I used a dremel to remove 1/32" from each side of the clip when rotating the clip 90 degrees. It took me 2 minutes to clamp and after that it works great. FYI if you use it for use the same purpose

Pros
  • Very Good Value
Cons
  • Empty

Well made seems very sturdy

Works well in slots but too bad they don't fit all T-track styles. The fixed jaw is too thick for some T-rail models, so you need to check the fit if you want to use it. They move easily and at the same time have a good grip to start cocking. I use them to continue working on my shooting board and they are fantastic for that purpose.

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Will not fit Dewalt guides or Matchfit dovetail grooves

Seems to be well made clamps but they do not fit the Dewalt rail saw guide. They go into the end of the rail but don't slide up. They also don't fit the dovetail of the Microjig Matchfit system (I don't assume this as they aren't advertised to do so). However, you could probably get them up and running in minutes, but unfortunately they don't fit Dewalt rails right away.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Could have opted for a newer model

Great Clamp - Saw Blades, Parts & Accessories

I prefer the T-Bar Clamp to the more commonly advertised Dovetail Clamp. I have a different brand of T-clip, but the handles are just a piece of painted dowel. The handles on the Powertec clamps are much easier to grip and apply a small amount of torque when needed. As a general rule, this type of clamp should only be a snug fit, but again, ergonomic plastic clamp handles come in very handy when needed. Purchased Aluminum T-Bar AND in 80/20. Collected about 80/20 scrap, and in combination with…
