Start right! fits starters and parts

So far so good - installed on a '93 Ford Bronco after the magnet went back to the original starter. Start right away! Sounds different than series starter, but I don't care. They're generally easy to install (I cut a bolt hole in the body of the torch and had to rethread so it took longer). I've been driving my car every day for two weeks with no problems. Worth the extra cost.

Pros
  • Ford permanent magnet reducer
Cons
  • Hard to tell

So far so good - 1995 Ford F150 4.9L

I have had this starter for 95 F150 for a few months. It revs the motor pretty fast. I was able to mount it to this truck by laying it directly underneath and running around a few obstacles with a socket wrench. I found it helpful to pressure wash this entire area of the truck before attempting the installation. I also replaced the case negative ground and positive lead to the solenoid with some cheap leads from a local store. I'll post an update if the starter dies prematurely, but so farโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High standards for components such as wiring, brushes, insulation, bearings and coatings for consistent performance in all environments
Cons
  • The list goes on.

You will regret this purchase!

These starters from China are a win-win and these things are complete garbage. I figured since this starter costs $20 more than the cheapest on Revain that would mean higher quality, but I was wrong. Installed but the solenoid will not de-energize. I pulled it back out and tried to rev it but to no avail so I reinstalled the original starter (preventive maintenance done) and it starts again with no problems. Now Revain offered to send me a replacement starter, but if quality control was thatโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Heavy-duty starter housing treatment for easy installation and secure connection of the starter housing to your vehicle's bearing surfaces.
Cons
