This is a quality tool, built well and made to last. There are comments about this tool on how hard it is to remove the plastic covering? Why would you remove something that protects the tool from rust and other damage, while not interfering with the intended operation, Applying mud to drywall? Again this is a quality tool.

I find most tools just work. some better than others and your expectations pretty much coincide with the price tag. This trowel however is practically magic for the money. Ive spent less and yet way more without getting the quality this trowel brings to the table. Corners are rounded and lifted. a subtle and uniform convex bend to the blade ends. Although I haven't used my trowel much I absolutely love it. It has just enough flex to feather the edge nicely, but not so much as to make the trowel weak. It's a perfect very balanced tool.

I tried to use this with Uzin 886 and Uzin 888 and it sucks. I bought it for large areas like commercial dining rooms but it doesn't work nearly as well as my 4x14. oh well

I had been using a 14" knife to apply mud. This trowel makes applying mud much easier and smoothing the mud is much faster. Excellent tool.
