    very good product: water filter and softener

    this is my second alkaline jug. The first had a non-working lid. This does everything it's supposed to. I use it with ginger and green tea bag. Very clean taste and I use it on my lung cancer journey.

    Filters are ok

    Alkaline jug Lake has been with us for about a year. When we needed replacement filters, we ordered them. They work great and I like the taste of this water much more than the other filtered tap water container (Zero). In fact, I purify our drinking water twice, first with our regular pitcher, and then when it's filtered, I pour it into an alkaline pitcher. Why not?

    The water has a metallic taste. Now I'm scared because I didn't see anything on the label that was FDA approved.

    Spare parts arrived, I followed the instructions to soak and clean before use, the first gave the water an unpleasant metallic taste, I tried the second, a similar taste, not the same as the first but similar. The original that came with the jug tasted fine, not sure why they are different but I think I got lucky. But what is in this filter to make it taste like this, can it be dangerous to drink? Possibly less healthy than tap water.

    Water filter cartridges are expensive, but this brand will save you big!

    We use our water filter pitcher a lot and overall I'm very happy with the cartridges. I love that I can order them from Revain and get them in 2 days if I miss a backup appointment. Very convenient! The price is very good compared to other cartridge brands. The only issue I had was that the cartridges tend to float into the reserve tank leaving some of the water unfiltered. I know when that can happen and I don't tip the pitcher that much. Problem solved!

    Used to filter impurities in tap water but I bought two packs and unfortunately the second pack was defective. The internal charcoal filter kept coming out in the water jug which shouldn't be so I should be entitled to half the purchase price as only one filter worked and I threw away the broken one so it wouldn't be returned But as I've had this item for at least six months I still have to refund or replace the time I sent without commission but it's ok I just bought four packs and if I have…

    THE BEST DECISION EVER MADE ABOUT WATER

    Be sure to follow the instructions to fit the lid and filter onto the jug! I ignored the instructions and what a mess I made pouring myself a glass of water! extend filter life. I was amazed at the difference in the taste of the water! It's delicious, but unlike any other filtered water I've tried, it's better.     Failed to load media. We have been ordering the same filter for our pot for a long time. We use the buyback function. We had an oversupply so we didn't order for a while.     Not satisfied with refill cartridges

    I like to drink alkaline water. What I didn't like was that the instructions didn't make it clear what to do before you start drinking from the jug. The instructions say nothing about the stickers to peel off the cartridge before soaking. I had to call support to find out. I gave them 3 stars for that reason, but I would give them 2 stars if I could, for the cartridge itself.     I don't like it I can't rate this filter 5 stars

    Easy installation. All you have to do is soak the filter in water for 15 minutes and then rinse it under the tap for two minutes. Before installation, remove the two small round plastic stickers from the bottom of the filter. The water tastes great. I've had the jug for three years now but the problem I'm having now is that when you pour out the water and tip the jug forward the filter falls out. So it's annoying.
