Easy installation. All you have to do is soak the filter in water for 15 minutes and then rinse it under the tap for two minutes. Before installation, remove the two small round plastic stickers from the bottom of the filter. The water tastes great. I've had the jug for three years now but the problem I'm having now is that when you pour out the water and tip the jug forward the filter falls out. So it's annoying. Filter and jug are expensive and shouldn't be. I've learned not to tip the pitcher all the way forward, and I squeeze the filter from time to time to make sure it's properly seated. I can live with that but for the price I feel the filter should fit better. I would give the filters 5 stars if they didn't have this problem.
