Decent quality for simple jobs.

I was able to core two holes through a 10” stem wall. On the third hole the two of the cutting teeth broke off. It did a fairly good job while it lasted. It is obviously not a high quality steel based on the price, but it will do simple jobs.

Pros
  • Worked perfectly. Exactly as advertised and expected. Great value for the money!
Cons
  • May wear down quickly depending on the frequency and intensity of use

I like it! for my opinion

Have used to 'core' three different types of material, marble, onyx, and snowflake obsidian. Most important detail is that keeping a perpendicular drive pressure to reduce drag on the inside of the bit is very desirable.Additional comment, the denisity of the diamond grit is quite good! Product wear is very satisfactory!

Pros
  • Concrete
Cons
  • Can be difficult to transport and store due to the size and weight of the product

Works as advertised

Used this to drill 2 holes about 5" deep in stone face of hose for tankless water heater vents. Used lots of water and need good drill. Makita right angle. Worked as it should have. These were for 2-in PVC pipes. If I did it again I would have gone to the two and three quarters inch hole size.

Pros
  • I had to drill six 12" holes in solid concrete and brick. These core bits worked well.
Cons
  • May not be suitable for drilling in certain types of concrete or masonry materials

Well worth the money.

I have bought many very expensive bits costing well over 100.00. These perform as well or better than any of them. May not be suitable for use on historic or fragile buildings or structures.

Pros
  • Provides clean and precise holes with minimal effort
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on historic or fragile buildings or structures

Price point accurate for this coring bit.

Cut hardened concrete for drain line between floors of residential home. Thankfully cut thru the rebar as well. What I ordered!

Pros
  • What I ordered
Cons
  • Cored 2 6" holes in concrete and broke 2 teeth. May be related to using without a press drill.

A very good quality core bit

Site conditions required coring 4" deep, with 2-1/2" diameter bit. Material was granite capped off with blue stone.Once I switched to this bit, the speed of coring and quality went from 15 minutes per hole down to 2 minutes. This is the best value for the money, excellent quality, and superb performance I've purchased.

Pros
  • Offers exceptional value for money compared to other similar products
Cons
  • Can be affected by changes in water temperature or quality during drilling

Used for cutting holes for pool umbrella sleeves

This worked perfect to cut holes in my pool to add in umbrella sleeves. I used a polisher to dial in the right speed for cutting. Just kept a hose trickle of water around the edge and it cut quick. Great!

Pros
  • 5/8"-11 arbor size is compatible with a wide range of power tools
Cons
  • May require replacement or maintenance of other equipment, such as drills or drill rigs

Durable and effective.

Tried 3 other bits to complete the desired bore hole through a granite river rock, this bit took care of the job quickly and easily.

Pros
  • Power Tool Parts & Accessories
Cons
  • Can be difficult to clean and maintain due to the complexity of the product

Worked for my needs.

Drill bit worked nicely for the job it was needed on, two holes through 4” pre cast concrete, it was purchased to complete the one job and now any holes from here on out are free.

Pros
  • Designed specifically for wet drilling in all types of hard masonry and concrete
Cons
  • May require specialized knowledge or expertise to install or set up properly

Great core bit for concrete floor

I bored out a 1" hole about 2.5" thick in a concrete floor. It took about 10 minutes with dewalt 60 volt drill. I could have easily done this with a smaller drill. I kept lightly spraying the whole with a water hose. I'm very pleased with it.

Pros
  • Robust and sturdy design minimizes risk of accidents and breakages
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use on decks or other elevated surfaces

Core drill anchor holes for fence

Cored 42 holes 7 inches deep into a rock wall to anchor a vinyl fence on top of the rock wall, No problem the more water I used the faster it cut through the rock and mortar

Pros
  • Tools & Home Improvement
Cons
  • May not be suitable for use in high traffic areas or busy construction sites

Did the Job I needed

Worked great! Was able to drill through a 10" concrete block filled with concrete in about 20min. Need to keep the core bit flushed with plenty of water to keep it cool and clear of slurry. Drilled a nice neat round hole to feed 1" electrical conduit through to complete the job.

Pros
  • MULTIPURPOSE - designed to drill concrete, concrete with light steel reinforcement or hard masonry
Cons
  • May require additional equipment or tools to remove and replace worn or damaged drill bits

work great at low cost.

my $150 Milwaukee bit dimond limbed tip broke off. I was my fault. I forgot to take my hammer drill off hammer. vibration weakened joint. I bought this cheep bit and it worked great.

Pros
  • Worked well for my concrete floor, three holes 5-6" deep. it's still good for more.
Cons
  • Can only be used for wet drilling, limiting its versatility

This was a 1/4 of the price as a local supplier so I figured I would take a chance and so far worth the money That's my feedback.

Pros
  • HEAVY DUTY - embedded diamond concentration guarantees longer core life and efficient drilling
Cons
  • Can be affected by changes in temperature or weather conditions during storage or transport

Drilled through boulders with ease!

Great well made diamond core bit! I drilled through two 14 inch granite boulders for a fountain and drilled right through them. Just tricked water with a garden hose and i drilled precise holes with ease. Even after drilling through granite, the diamond core drill bit has has a lot of life left. I strongly recommend it and recommend buying the adaptor suitable for your drill. Best part is the bit was just as much as renting it from a big box store!

Pros
  • 12-inch drilling depth means fewer passes required to complete drilling tasks
Cons
  • Can be prone to breaking or cracking if dropped or mishandled
