They fit well but when I had them all the way down they were only 1/2 inch down the bar.

They fit well, but when I got them all the way down they were only 1/2 inch from the rack. On the pole they looked pretty lame. I would recommend buying end caps that are a bit taller. That way they don't look like they're about to slip off after 15 minutes.

Perfect for my pasture gate!

I bought these for my pasture gate in and around the barn. If you have an open hole, bees can nest on the ends of the gate, which is a big problem. Who wants to be stung by bees when you open the gate! These caps end up being a snug fit and the length was perfect as where the caps ended was where the pole began. Don't make the mistake of buying baseball caps that are too long because they don't fit properly, I almost did.

The perfect combination of flexibility and strength

These vinyl caps are thinner and more flexible than I thought. They came out a bit out of round, which is to be expected with thin vinyl. That's not rubber, that's vinyl. This means they last longer than natural rubber. They are best used for the ends and tops of 1 3/4" pipes, not as feet (rubber is best) as they are very thin. I use them on my very old power rack with legs that go horizontal standing on the floor. I painted this thing and didn't want the "sharp" end of the metal tube to cut…
