Exact replacement part required as they fail every 2-3 years.

Now I've replaced 2 of these on a compressor I've been using for 5-6 years. They don't get stuck, so the compressor never shuts off. Unfortunately, the best solution seems to be to simply swap them out.

Pros
  • Pretty package
Cons
  • Big and bulky

COMPLETELY WRONG - Power and Hand Tools

GETTING THE PRESSURE SWITCH WAS COMPLETELY WRONG. PRINT AREA WAS TOO HIGH 135/175. ALSO THE CONNECTOR PORT WAS 3-1/4", NOT 1-1/2". ANOTHER FAULT WAS NO ON/OFF SWITCH. THE ONLY RIGHT BRAND. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Some little things

Danger Power tool parts and accessories hazard

I set and acknowledged the cut out after cutting the wires. Added new endings. Pressure line diverted. I ran it to make sure it didn't shut down and from other reviews I saw they send 135-175. a bit dangerous. I am not happy. (written under the plastic cover)

Pros
  • That's great
Cons
  • Hard to say

Wrong Part - Air Compressor Accessory

Use caution when ordering an Ingersold Rand pressure switch for your single stage compressor. My tank has a maximum pressure of 135psi so I ordered part #2347661. It is 100psi and 135psi. What arrived was part #23474653 rated at 135psi and 175psi. The markings on the outer packaging are correct, but the inside is wrong!

Never again.: Air Compressor Accessory

Lasted about 10 days, six hours a day. It's smaller than what I bought before. it lasted four weeks at about six hours a day. They told me it was my wiring. I ended up buying a replacement part from Industrial Air Power for about $15 less than the original part. I quickly installed it and it's been running perfectly ever since.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

NO DIRECT APPROACH AS SPECIFIED AND DANGEROUS

This is not a compressor replacement as the high pressure cut off pressure is 25psi higher than the safety device. it never turns off. Also, the fittings are on the wrong side/upside down and the threads/manifolds don't match the tank threads. After spending an evening installing it, I found that the pressure was too high. If your exhaust valve fails, you've created a bomb!

Pros
  • Big Price
Cons
  • Long Delivery

Not as shown in Power & Hand Tools

Not as shown. The product does not come with the new pressure gauge or copper tube that I need. I'm disappointed because now I have to try to find these parts locally (late Friday afternoon) so I can use my compressor this weekend. At the time of posting this the description doesn't mention what is included/not included. Edit: After installing it, I found that they sent the wrong pressure switch. I sent it back but they sent the wrong pressure sensor AGAIN. DO NOT ORDER THIS ITEM.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Minor issues

Keep your old switch to steal parts

The switch is now installed and fully functional. However, the original switch came with detachable quick connect fork lugs that routed under the terminal bolts to accommodate your quick connect terminal equipped wiring. Not on a new switch. Steal them from the old Switch. The terminal screws themselves were barely installed and when I tried to tighten them it felt like I had cut the brass threads they screwed into. It took a lot of effort, too much for me to believe it was right. Pull the old…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Unfashionable

it doesn't fit TS5

It definitely doesn't fit TS5 Compressor. I had to disassemble the old one into several parts. First, there is no room for a pressure relief valve, which I consider a serious oversight as these things always fail when the points are closed. It had a 1/2" port instead of the 3/8" port the original had and the piping was set up in a slightly different direction. I had to remove the aluminum port structure from the old one and put it on the new one. It also has a different cutoff pressure, 135…
