I've bought this before didn't want to pay shipping so got it from Amazon this time. From the bottom of my heart, the cord that sprang up was strong and lasted about 2 or 3 years. This one from amazon the kitty looks the same, but the string that's bouncing around doesn't seem to be holding up. Sometimes it gets stuck and I have to pull it out a bit to allow it to retract. I hope it lasts at least a year but it's pretty flimsy. Update: The elastic cord lasted about 2 weeks.

This was exactly the design I wanted for my work tip and overall I'm happy with it, however the clip doesn't rotate on the back which I didn't realize when I bought it. For this reason, I can only cut my hair in one direction, for example over the bag and not along the edge of a shirt or sweater. I work in customer service so I needed something that attaches to my uniform and tucks away and has a clip to hold my badge. I ordered the owl, it arrived on time and as described. I used it daily and not lightly I might add. On my daily 9 hour shift, I pull and yank over 25 times a day, you know what? It's still like new! I'd love to be asked at least once a week where I got this from and/or how cute it is! I am very satisfied with them and I can say with 100% certainty that I will order more.

I get so many compliments for this little clip. I was skeptical based on the mixed reviews I read before purchasing, but I had no problems at all.

It was nice while it lasted. It went like this for 4 months. I don't wear many things on it, just two cards and I don't pull on it much. The entire connection point to the reel was cut off and I lost my badge. Too bad. To the next.

Bought this badge holder about a year ago and have been wearing it ever since. Needless to say, it's super durable! Still retracts great and the clip is still strong. Ducky's hard plastic nurse might have a few light scuffs, but she feels nice too. I really wanted a cat instead of a duck but didn't like the cat options available. I wasn't sure if Ducky's Nurse would be the right fit for my mostly elderly oriented nursing job. I get lots of compliments on Sister Ducky. She's a Keeper!
