The cable doesn't really seem to send any information. My computer says the printer is offline. Not only that, the cable stinks to high heaven! The cord appears to be coated in a synthetic fragrance. My office smells, my fingers smell at his touch. The smell annoys me more than a defective cable!

Perfect cable for my printer but the description says the cable is 10ft long. Not true. Cable length 15 feet. Why is it important? The printer cable can only be a little less than 9ft 3in long to work. After weeks of troubleshooting the printer and working with tech support. The PC kept saying that the USB port was the problem. Today I unplugged the cable and measured it. Bam 15 feet. Uses a 6ft cable and no more problem.

That turned out to be a good thing. When I tried to use a previous printer that used Wi-Fi printing. I always encountered a problem. WiFi connection is always jerky. Then output like "Error! Can't connect because blah blah blah" and needs a reboot. troubleshooting and whatnot. So having a wired connection to my printer or another printer is a handy way to get things moving.

WARNING! Bought and not only did it fit very snugly into my USB port on my computer, it didn't work at all. My computer doesn't even recognize that anything is plugged in. It is defective and there is no right of return, which was completely unknown to me. How come I can't return something that doesn't work at all? What a rip off

This printer cable is just what I needed to get my new printer up and running. The cable is exactly what I expected. It works great and I haven't had any problems with it. The hardware is right. Good product. Would recommend to anyone who needs a printer cable. It's nice and long so you don't have to place the printer right next to your computer. I am very satisfied with the purchase of this printer cable.

Very long cable, which was reflected in my seller rating. I've been very happy with it and while I know it's just a printer's chord, I genuinely believe the quality of any product is important. This is perfect for my Pixma printer with my 2007 Macbook Pro. And the price is unbeatable! Go to Walmart and buy a printer cable and it costs almost triple! And this cable is of better quality. The cable ships quickly so that's a plus considering I didn't know my printer was going to be wireless.
