Not for long term use

I used them for pottery class. They lasted the whole block. However, the sponge broke and the larger cutting tool became blunt.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • The list will be long.

They are cheap and fall apart the first time you use them

I am very disappointed in them. Yes they were cheap but I had to sand them down and after the first use they ripped right down the middle. Don't be cheap like me. Buy good tools.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Very helpful and inexpensive.

Great budget set. As a new ceramic artist and sculptor, this is a handy set. I gave it to a friend once and she liked it so much that she immediately ordered a set for herself. The case is very useful for keeping things tidy. The zipper prevents it from falling out. Highly recommended.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Some problems

decent sponge best in paint scraper

I have used these all the time for glazing and throwing. I've had enough of these for a long time, I bought 20 more of them and I think that I won't have to buy sponges for a long time. They seemed cheap and poor quality right away, but when they get wet and break a bit, they're great.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Neat starter tool set

This set is just about ok. The wood is porous (cheap), the edges are slightly chipped. I would recommend sanding the edges. A major downside is that they will mold if you don't let them dry completely before putting them in your tool box. This has never happened to me with my other wood-ceramic instruments (like the Kemper...god I love the Kemper).

Pros
  • Made of thin, flexible stainless steel
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
