Jeep Wrangler Door Off Mirrors - All Wrangler Models YJ TJ JK JL 1987-2021, Gladiator - One Pair Door Hinge Mirror Review

These mirrors work great around town and are very easy to fit. But as soon as I drive about 50 mph, the wind pushes them towards the jeep, which is very similar to this product's photo. I tightened them and tried extra nuts and washers but nothing worked. I love the convenience of these mirrors for local travel, but if you buy them for long haul travel and/or highway driving you will be disappointed.

good so I like it. and they have grown on me. but definitely not my first choice after shopping. but they are really good for their price. and MORE let me tell you. I ripped one of these off (driver's side) and it fell straight to the ground (out of the door bracket) and didn't break. now i am telling you this because i have 255/75/17 tires on it with a 1.5 alignment kit and the mirror i dropped hit the ground and didn't shatter. just throwing it out is definitely worth the money now

The mirrors are as expected and match the 202o Gladiator. Have used them all summer. Would welcome some sort of "stop" to keep them in place more effectively at high speed. Of course you can turn the nuts tight enough to hold them, but I would expect this to damage the paintwork on the door hinges. I added some flat rubber washers (guitar strap holders actually) to protect my paint. It worked great. I had to pull them up from time to time when the resistance of a strong wind weakened them…

If you remove the doors of your Jeep it is a legal requirement of course to have at least two mirrors depending on your state, this satisfies that legal requirement and that's it. They wobble and vibrate so much on the track that you can hardly see anything through them. They are also very small and very difficult to see. Let's just say they're better than nothing. I installed them on my 2018 4-door JKU Wrangler and I can barely see the passenger mirror.

That's fine, but only because they're cheap compared to other options. Day off. To put on / take off, the diagonal bar must be completely removed from the device. This takes a few extra minutes and is inconvenient. But I could get over it. B- The biggest problem is that these mirrors make a whistling noise when you drive more than 40 km/h. I assume it has something to do with the shape/exposed hardware on the back of the mirror, but you assume the manufacturer did something to reduce the sound.

If we send a man to the moon we can definitely design a better mirror than this set. Installation takes a long time, wobbles when switched on (despite the ratchet) and PIA to remove. First, the packaging was perfect. Items were well packaged and arrived undamaged. But that's where the positive reviews end. The instructions that came with it were less than helpful. My 13 year old could probably write better instructions in Chinese than the ones in English as they were just plain wrong. This…
