- You need to choose a cooler more carefully - I have a Be Quiet Dark Rock 4, which should dissipate up to 200 watts, but with it the idle temperature is 45 - 53 C (+27 C in the room), and 65-75 C at load. In my opinion, it's too much, but reinstalling the cooler did not help. Chiplets in processors have begun to be placed off-center, so the convex heels of coolers should be leveled by grinding or a cooler with a flat base and direct contact between heat pipes should be selected. ADDITION: lowered the temperature by 7 degrees by installing an additional exhaust fan at the top of the case.
