Description of Processor AMD Ryzen 5 5600 AM4, 6 x 3500 MHz, OEM

The AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor is a performance solution for gaming systems and workstations. This model is based on the Vermeer architecture based on the 7 nm process technology, which, coupled with 6 physical cores and 12 virtual threads, will provide high computing power in a variety of tasks. The operating frequency range of the processor can vary from 3.5 to 4.4 GHz and can be increased using a free multiplier to achieve even greater performance. The maximum amount of RAM can be 128GB DDR4 type. The PCI-E controller built into the processor complies with version 4.0. The model also supports a wide range of commands, instructions and virtualization technologies, which makes this solution a universal choice for both professional work and entertainment. The maximum heat dissipation of the AMD Ryzen 5 5600 processor is 65W. The temperature at maximum load can reach 90°C. The model supports various water and air cooling systems. Socket AM4 is used for installation on the motherboard.

Started up immediately, rustled perfectly, drove without damage. Happy with the purchase. Online trade seller. Pros below: I will not paint, you can read about the advantages of the processor in reviews and articles Got cons: Is it just the packaging) I understand that OEM and in the tray is ok, but at least put in an additional box . Any. Mine was in a paper bag with a bubble wrap inside without any box.

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

I caught it at a discount for the 9600 OEM version, it works properly, I have not seen a temperature above 55 for a month of use.

Pros
  • Performance, tdp
Cons
  • Price? Price without discount 12-14 thousand.

With memory at a frequency of 3600 MHz in stress tests, it consumes a maximum of 80 watts (at a maximum voltage of 1.248 volts) and warms up to 85 degrees. An excellent percentage with a nice price (I took it for 11,000), but you need to take it on Ali.

Pros
  • Immediately, without dancing, I took the memory frequency of 3600 MHz at 1.41 V from memory, unlike AMD 2600X, where it worked stably with the same memory only at 3200 MHz. According to tests, the processor is only 3% inferior to AMD 5600X. In games at 1080p resolution, it is 20% faster than the AMD 2600X, and at 4K there is no difference in performance, because. the entire load falls on the video card.
Cons
  • You need to choose a cooler more carefully - I have a Be Quiet Dark Rock 4, which should dissipate up to 200 watts, but with it the idle temperature is 45 - 53 C (+27 C in the room), and 65-75 C at load. In my opinion, it's too much, but reinstalling the cooler did not help. Chiplets in processors have begun to be placed off-center, so the convex heels of coolers should be leveled by grinding or a cooler with a flat base and direct contact between heat pipes should be selected. ADDITION: lowered the temperature by 7 degrees by installing an additional exhaust fan at the top of the case.

Reliable purchase, guaranteed to be a good one.

Good, reliable, up-to-date processor for games. I put a mother with a 3060ti video card in 550 and I don’t know any troubles.

Pros
  • Cold, almost any cooler is suitable for cooling (except for the side cooler from AMD, alas, this one starts to howl even at medium load) Productive, pulls everything and everyone.
Cons
  • Surprisingly unpopular, almost no information and articles, lives in the shadow of 5600x

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

At first I didn’t understand why he was so warm up to 80 degrees, despite the fact that I have a good tower, then I drove it for half an hour in AMD Ryzen Master and the temperature was not higher than 60

Pros
  • Amazing processor, in conjunction with the 3060ti gives good performance
Cons
  • They are not here

The quality exceeds all expectations, I recommend to buy.

In general, from my old already i7 6700 I decided to try the platform on this processor, while selling the old platform at the price of a new one, it went to 0, the performance boost was good, I didn’t even expect it, to be honest. I took Zalman cnps 9 optima for it and I will say that in the summer 71 degrees in full load is not so much, with a mother on the B450 chipset it comes out very budget. Prots took on alik for 8500. I advise.

Pros
  • Price, performance
Cons
  • Did not reveal

After the i7 3770 the performance went up by 250% somewhere. FPS in cs go hung around 200, now it’s from 400 to 700. In more complex games, the increase is smaller because the issue of the video card is already being raised there. For my money, this is not a purchase, but a gift (I spent about 15 thousand on the whole set, while the old set with i7 3770 is ready to buy from me for 13) I don’t know what else to say, am4 power, I think it will become the same long-lived legend as 1155 in its…

Pros
  • Super power, I took it on alik for 8069, for such a processor the price is simply ridiculous, an adequate cost, taking into account the output power, should be over 20,000.
Cons
  • I don’t know what to write here, probably only the temperatures are a little high, in games up to 80 degrees or even up to 82, but on the other hand, what difference does it make to me what happens in the computer if the FPS does not drop?

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Well, what can I say, the video card is to blame for everything! :) 😁 I sat myself on a gigabyte b450m s2h + Ryzen 2600 + Rx580 and 16g RAM and did not know grief. And then the RTX3070 turned up for me at a good price, having bought it, I realized that the Ryzen 2600 is rather weak for the RX3070, I bought this stone Ryzen 5600 without (X), based on tests and reviews, there is a difference between 5600 vs 560X at an error level of 2-3%. I ated the bios on my old motherboard to support Ryzen…

  • Good frequency per core

Good product for me, no problems at all.

I assembled a new system with this processor - everything went like clockwork. For reference and inquisitive, my configuration is: ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming 4, ADATA XPG GAMMIX D10 RAM 8Gb 3200MHz (2 pcs.), PowerColor RX 580 4Gb, ID-Cooling SE-225-XT Black V2. CPU temperatures: at idle ~35 degrees, under 100% load in the test it is stable no more than ~ 55/60 degrees. So, with proper tower cooling - a very cold stone.

Pros
  • A wonderful mid-level processor, which is only a modest percentage inferior to its older "X" counterpart. It came in its original packaging with a seal, everything is clean and new, the legs are not bent, the surface of the chip is without any traces. It works great and drives great in overclocking within its frequencies from 3.5 to 4.5 GHz.
Cons
  • Slightly reduced features compared to the "X" version, but it is almost imperceptible, both in tests and in operation. The factory cooler is, of course, a joke, but it's good that there is such an option for people. The price is often too high, and too fickle, which sometimes even surpasses more powerful counterparts ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The product suited me, I will recommend it to my friends.

I took it after buying a 6600 video card and the difference with r5 1600 was almost x2 in all processor-dependent games in the average frame. The cooler for it left the old one from 1600, but as practice has shown without a fixed frequency and a decrease in voltage on the old tower, it heats up to 80 degrees, after all the manipulations it was able to squeeze out the performance of the stock 5600x and with a temperature of about 70-75 in stress tests. In games no more than 65 degrees

Pros
  • High performance. The difference with r5 1600 is almost doubled. For your money, a good offer if there is no desire to wait from China.
Cons
  • Features of the architecture that require normal cooling for it or a good undervolt
