I ordered a Taylor windshield for my boat. I think they just have a cheaper manufacturer now. My old kit is much thicker and stronger. but it will work. Also, the packaging was opened and the screws fell out of the packaging.

If you sell products, make a measurement chart so consumers like me know each measurement. I needed a 14 inch shackle with no swivel fittings. Now I can't even use this because it's too short.

Thinner than original but perfect fit. But if you swap both legs on your boat, don't assume they are the same length. Usually one is shorter than the other due to dash wobbling. Measure both.

Easy to assemble but the driver's side broke off after being hit hard by the wakeboard. Luckily the end pieces are plastic and can be put back clean. But they aren't as strong as a 40 year old brace that I ended up having to replace.

In addition to the Scott Harding stand, your mounting brackets will be compared to the new mounting brackets once you have reached the required length. In my case I had to send back a 12" rail which I thought was the right size for an 11" rail due to the fasteners. I had to make it 1 inch shorter and it fit perfectly.

Measure your poles correctly. I've attached a picture of how to properly measure these bars. Bend the brackets 90 degrees and measure the length of the rack including the brackets on either side. See fig. Someone in the comments said that you need to measure the distance from the center of the ball on one side to the center ball on the other side. That is not true. This left me with a stand that was too short. Another important note: they are thinner than regular window mounts. They are 5/8"…

I needed these for a 1987 Hydrostream. As other reviewers have pointed out, sizing is the hardest part as no information was provided. I stacked the old black bar and new silver bar on top of each other with both swivel feet fully centered (just over 90 degrees) and the 12" bars I ordered were 11 1/2". So if your old post is 11 1/2", you need a 12" post. I suspect if you need more or less support when bending the ends and measuring you will want a support that is 1/2" longer than the old ones…
